Scholarship

A child can be adopted for $24 a month, but as the child advances in school, the schoolfees become higher, especially when starting high-school. Thus, the monthly financial help is not able to cover the tuition. If the child wants to continue to study, and has the mental capacity for that, we would try to supplement the monthly help with a scholarship.

The elligibility for scholarship depends on meeting some conditions, the evaluation process takes into consideration the average grade, the financial situation of the family, and the child’s involvement in church life.

Uniform

Eeach kindergarten and school has a unique uniform. Children cannot attend school without it. Many parents cannot afford to buy uniforms to their children. If a family has several children and there are not enough funds to buy uniforms to all of them, boys are the first to receive a uniform, while the girls remain at home.

Construction of school and orphanage

In 2014, by God’s grace and the donations of sponsors, a school and orphanage was build in a village of the Safwa tribe from Tanzania. This has been a great joy to the tribe and the chiefs of the tribe. The building is not totally completed yet. Windows, doors, plastering, and furniture is still needed. Teaching is already taking place in the building and we pray that the Gospel would be proclaimed in it to God’s glory.
